I have an iPad Air . Yesterday when I opened a folder of apps on my home screen, lines appeared. This never happened before. This continues to happen. I have changed display settings, restarted iPad, still no change. Any suggestions?

If you already did a Reset, try a Restore.
Reset: hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10-15 seconds).
If this doesn't help, you might need to Restore your iPhone: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184
If your backup is to iTunes, make sure it's an encrypted backup.
